Where it began
Dr. Konadu Boateng founded Boost Medical Aesthetics in September 2020, on the recognition that medical aesthetics in Ghana and across West Africa was a real need being served by very few people with the clinical training to do it properly.
She brings together a background in medicine, dermatology and surgery with certification in aesthetic medicine — and runs the practice from that starting point: an in-depth understanding of skin science, applied to the skin in front of her.
The practice treats a wide range of medical and cosmetic skin and hair conditions. At the front of it is advanced, non-invasive rejuvenation using products and procedures that are recognised and approved in aesthetics internationally — applied here, for skin here.

The doctor treats you
Assessment, planning and treatment are carried out by a clinician. In a field with very little gatekeeping, that is the difference between a considered plan and a menu of procedures.

Chosen for your skin
Lasers, peels and needling are selected and dosed for darker skin tones. Most pigmentation problems after treatment come from settings meant for lighter skin — which is a choice made before the machine is switched on.

Honest about outcomes
We will tell you what a treatment can realistically do, how long it lasts, and when the answer is to do nothing at all. That includes turning work down when it is not in your interest.

Care that continues
Aftercare, review appointments and the products that support your result are part of the treatment, not an upsell bolted on at the end.
